
Today, March 12, 2025, the representatives of InfoCons are attending the meeting on sustainable food systems at the Consumers International Summit, organized on the occasion of World Consumer Rights Day.
Hosted on Zoom, this session – organized by Consumers International – will bring together leading experts to explore how sustainable food systems promote healthier diets and make nutritious food more accessible to all.

According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, a shift towards plant-rich diets is the single most influential demand-side action for mitigating greenhouse gas emissions. Some 68% of consumers worldwide are interested in eating more plant-based food, for reasons of health as well as sustainability, but only 20% regularly do so.
