Today, April 3, 2025, Sorin Mierlea, President of InfoCons, is attending the Consumer Policy Advisory Group meeting held online.
The expert group, known as the “Consumer Policy Advisory Group“, was established by the Directorate-General for Justice and Consumers (DG JUST) of the European Commission with the aim of bringing together representatives from consumer organizations, civil society, and industry to support the Consumer Agenda. The group consists of 42 members, with Romania being represented by InfoCons.

Today’s discussions are moderated by Daniela Bankier, Head of Unit, Directorate-General for Consumer Policy and Sustainability, European Commission, Directorate-General for Justice and Consumers (DG JUST). The agenda for the day is the following :

- 2025 Consumer Conditions Survey and Scoreboard – Presentation of Key Findings and Open Discussion
- Consumer Agenda 2025-2030 and the Action Plan on Consumers in the Single Market – Current Status and Next Steps, with a Focused Discussion on Consumers and Competitiveness
- 2030 Consumer Agenda: Protecting Vulnerable Consumers – Presentations and In-Depth Discussion on the 2025-2030 Objectives and Actions for the Protection of Vulnerable Consumers
