During 11-12 June 2024, Sorin Mierlea , the President of InfoCons , attends the 35th General Assembly of ANEC : The European consumer voice in standardization , held in Brussels, Belgium .
ANEC’s mission is to raise standards for European consumers through the work of the ANEC members, experts and Secretariat, in order to achieve optimal levels of consumer protection, welfare and sustainability . InfoCons – European Organization for Consumer Protection and Promotion of Programs and Strategies , represents Romania in ANEC : The European consumer voice in standardization .
The meetings of the General Assembly will contain various presentations on subjects important in standardization such as highlights of recent activities , inclusiveness , regulations , public consultations , and future prospects .
