InfoCons has represented Romania within ANEC since 2012, contributing to the promotion and protection of consumer interests in the European standardization process.
What is ANEC – The European Consumer Voice in Standardisation?
ANEC represents the voice of European consumers in the field of standardisation. The organisation advocates for the interests of European consumers in the development of technical standards, particularly those that support the implementation of European legislation and public policies.
In addition to contributing to the development of standards, ANEC is also involved in their implementation, focusing on areas such as market surveillance, regulatory enforcement, accreditation, and conformity assessment systems. ANEC also seeks to influence European legislation concerning products and services, especially where standards are referenced or play a significant role.
