Sorin Mierlea, President of InfoCons, is participating in the Graduation Ceremony of the Class of 2026, organized by the Banat’s University of Life Sciences “King Michael I of Romania” from Timișoara (USVT), one of the most significant academic events of the university year, dedicated to graduates who are completing an important stage of their educational and professional journey.
The participation of the President of InfoCons reaffirms the close cooperation between InfoCons and the Banat’s University of Life Sciences “King Michael I of Romania” from Timișoara, as well as their shared commitment to developing projects focused on education, research, public awareness, and consumer protection.
The ceremony is not only a celebratory occasion for graduates and their families, but also an opportunity to highlight the essential role of higher education in preparing future professionals who will contribute to the development of agriculture, the food industry, veterinary medicine, environmental protection, management, rural tourism, and many other related fields with a direct impact on society and consumers’ quality of life.
During the ceremony, Sorin Mierlea will deliver a speech addressed to the Class of 2026 graduates, emphasizing the importance of professional responsibility, ethics, innovation, and active involvement in building a society based on transparency, quality, and respect for consumers. The speech by the President of InfoCons is part of the official programme of the event, alongside addresses delivered by the university leadership, representatives of the academic community, and students.

The Partnership between InfoCons and USVT
The participation of the President of InfoCons in the Graduation Ceremony takes place within the framework of the Cooperation Protocol concluded between InfoCons – Consumer Protection Organization and the Banat’s University of Life Sciences “King Michael I of Romania” from Timișoara. The partnership aims to develop and implement joint projects in the fields of education, research, public awareness, and consumer protection.
The protocol seeks to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions through joint activities dedicated to informing, educating, and raising public awareness regarding issues relevant to consumers’ everyday lives.
The partnership also includes the organization of conferences, workshops, information campaigns, educational sessions, research projects, and other initiatives with educational and social impact, designed to facilitate public access to accurate and up-to-date information.
