Working Visit to the University of Birmingham by the Delegation Comprising InfoCons and the King Michael I University of Life Sciences from Timișoara – USVT as Part of the ProEduHub Project
As part of the ProEduHub project, the delegation comprising InfoCons and the King Michael I University of Life Sciences from Timișoara (USVT) paid a working visit to the University of Birmingham, including the Birmingham Health Innovation Campus, one of the most advanced centres dedicated to research, innovation, and collaboration between academia, the healthcare sector, and industry.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Sorin Mierlea, President of InfoCons, and Prof. Cosmin Alin Popescu, Rector of the King Michael I University of Life Sciences from Timișoara (USVT), together with representatives of both institutions.
The visit aims to facilitate the exchange of best practices in the development of innovation ecosystems in the fields of healthcare and education, identify opportunities for academic and research collaboration, and strengthen partnerships between higher education institutions in Romania and the United Kingdom.
This meeting is part of the series of activities taking place in the United Kingdom under the ProEduHub project, an initiative designed to facilitate access for young Romanians living abroad to the educational opportunities offered by Romanian universities, while fostering international partnerships in support of education, research, and innovation.
