Working Meeting between Mr Sorin Mierlea, President of InfoCons, and Mr Nicu Ștefănuță, Vice-President of the European Parliament, on the ProEduHub Project

Sorin Mierlea, President of InfoCons, held a working meeting with Nicu Ștefănuță, Vice-President of the European Parliament, during which the project “ProEduHub – Facilitating Access to Education in Romania for Young Romanians Living Abroad. Come Home!” was presented.

The discussions focused on providing young Romanians living abroad with access to clear and up-to-date information about opportunities to continue their studies in Romania, as well as on the role of the ProEduHub platform in bringing them closer to the Romanian higher education system.

The meeting also addressed the challenges faced by young people living abroad who wish to study in Romania, from identifying suitable university programmes to obtaining information about admission procedures, available facilities and integration into the university environment.

The ProEduHub platform provides young people and their families with information about Romanian faculties and study programmes, helping them make informed educational choices.

The project is implemented by the InfoCons Association between 1 August and 30 October 2026 in Romania, Italy and Belgium and is funded by the Department for Romanians Abroad.
