Mr Willard Mwemba, representing the COMESA Competition and Consumer Commission, delivered a speech during International Product Safety Week 2026, held from 7 to 10 September 2026 in Brussels.

Mr Sorin Mierlea, President of InfoCons, is attending the event, which marks 20 years of International Product Safety Week and international cooperation in the field of product safety.

The event brings together representatives of public authorities, consumer protection organisations, international institutions and the business community for discussions dedicated to international cooperation, product safety and consumer protection.
