Sorin Mierlea, President of InfoCons, is attending today, 11 September 2026, the exclusive “French Tech – Romanian Touch” reception, held in the gardens of the Embassy of France in Romania in Bucharest.
The event is held under the high patronage of His Excellency Mr Nicolas Warnery, Ambassador of France to Romania, and is organised by the La French Tech Bucharest community.
The reception brings together approximately 250 guests, primarily startup founders, entrepreneurs and leaders of major companies, in a setting dedicated to celebrating innovation, technology and entrepreneurship.
The event programme includes speeches delivered by distinguished guests, a business awards ceremony, a raffle and networking sessions. Participants therefore have the opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences, establish new professional connections and explore potential collaborations between the Romanian and French entrepreneurial and technology ecosystems.
What is La French Tech?
La French Tech is the official initiative of the French Government dedicated to supporting France’s startup, technology and innovation ecosystem, both nationally and internationally.
Launched in 2013, the initiative brings together entrepreneurs, startup founders, investors, companies, public institutions, universities and organisations from around the world. Its objective is to support the growth of innovative companies, facilitate their access to resources and partnerships, and promote international cooperation in technology and entrepreneurship.
Today, the La French Tech network is active in numerous countries through local communities known as “French Tech Communities.” These communities organise events, facilitate the exchange of experience and build connections between innovation ecosystems across different regions of the world.
