One of the main topics during this discussion focused on developing a single market access toolkit specifically for products with digital elements. This toolkit aims to provide a standardized framework that ensures these products meet uniform cybersecurity requirements across the European market.

Furthermore, the conversation emphasized the importance of educating both manufacturers and consumers on the secure use of products with digital elements throughout their lifecycle. This would involve initiatives such as consumer awareness campaigns on cybersecurity risks, instructions for updating and maintaining devices, and resources for troubleshooting cybersecurity concerns. The goal is to foster a culture of proactive cybersecurity awareness, where both users and producers understand the shared responsibility in maintaining the security of digital products. In the long term, this approach aims to enhance overall consumer trust in digital products, creating a safer digital environment in the EU market.
