On June 12, 2024, Sorin Mierlea , the President of InfoCons , is attending the 35th General Assembly of ANEC : The European consumer voice in standardization , held in Brussels, Belgium .

The meeting today, June 12, will start with a presentation titled “Driving inclusiveness in standardization” , held by Andrea Raffaelli, Small Business Standards (SBS) .

The meetings of the General Assembly will contain various presentations on subjects important for standardization such as highlights of recent activities , inclusiveness , regulations , public consultations , and future prospects .

ANEC’s mission is to raise standards for European consumers through the work of the ANEC members, experts and Secretariat, in order to achieve optimal levels of consumer protection, welfare and sustainability .
