Sorin Mierlea , the President of InfoCons , is participating in the “Enhancing the sustainability of bio-based products” event

On October 2nd, 2024 , Sorin Mierlea , the President of InfoCons , is participating in the “Enhancing the sustainability of bio-based products : new tools and future standardisation developments” event, organized by the BioReCer (Biological Resources Certifications Schemes) project consortium. The event is being held in a hybrid format.

At this event, the BioReCer consortium will present key outcomes from their project, focusing on tools and frameworks that aim to enhance practices within the bio-based circular economy. A major highlight will be the introduction of the Open Standards Research Tool (Standardisation Toolkit), which has been designed to streamline the standardisation process in bio-based sectors. The event will also feature the unveiling of the innovative BioReCer ICT tool, which supports data collection and decision-making, offering a detailed set of circularity indicators that help assess product performance throughout the bio-based value chain.

In addition, the BioReCer ICT tool provides an assessment framework to evaluate sustainability, circularity, and compliance with various certification schemes.
