Today, October 21, 2024, the President of InfoCons, Sorin Mierlea, is participating in the online meeting organized by ANEC: The European Consumer Voice in Standardization, with the support of the European AI & Society Fund. The theme of this online seminar focuses on the AI Trustworthiness Standard.

During this informative and interactive session, the discussion will center on the current state of the AI Trustworthiness Standard and the next steps in the approval process, considering how stakeholders can contribute to its drafting. Additionally, the session will cover how AI standards can best be influenced to ensure positive outcomes for civil society.

The online meeting will be moderated by Chiara Giovannini, ANEC Deputy Director General, and the following speakers will take the floor:

  • Enrico Panai, Convenor of CEN-CLC JTC 21 WG 4 “Foundational and Societal Aspects”
  • Pete Eisenegger, ANEC AI expert in CEN-CLC JTC21 WG4 and WG1 (Strategic Advisory Group & Technical Coherence Forum)
