Sorin Mierlea , President of InfoCons , participates as a speaker at the 2024 Cybersecurity Resilience & Market Conference, held on October 31, 2024. The conference is hosted by the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) in collaboration with the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC) and Romania’s National Cyber Security Directorate (DNSC) , at the JW Marriott Hotelin Bucharest, Romania.

This conference will run parallel to the 2024 Bucharest Cybersecurity Conference (BCC2024), organized by the National Cyber Security Directorate (DNSC), which oversees national cybersecurity and incident response in Romania. The event promises a dynamic and educational program, offering valuable perspectives and discussions. Key topics on the agenda include:

  • Digital internal market regulations
  • Strengthening cybersecurity resilience in the Single Market
  • Incentives to boost market resilience
  • Trends in technology and the digital market

Through this conference, the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) is initiating discussions with market players—manufacturers, vendors, distributors, notified bodies, market surveillance authorities, and consumer protection organizations, alongside corporate users of products with digital components.

All stakeholders are invited to join the participants in exploring how the EU Cyber Resilience Act will enhance transparency regarding product security, and how technology trends, incentives, and funding will drive innovation, boosting the cyber resilience and autonomy of the Single Market.

Sorin Mierlea is speaking on the “Cyber resilience of the Single Market – In practice” panel, where the objective is to bring together Manufacturer – Notified Body – Market Surveillance Authority – Consumer to discuss pre-market and post-market activities.
