The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest, in collaboration with InfoCons, launched today, December 10, 2024, the first global European project aimed at raising awareness, educating, and informing the market about the security and safeguarding of visual concepts and beyond.
The new app, developed within the Digital Forensics Laboratory at ICI Bucharest, targets both citizens and legal entities across the EU as well as those from other continents. Its purpose is to increase the acceptance of securing visual concepts and other related elements.
“ICI Bucharest has a clear mission to support digital transformation. Through this app, we bring a useful and accessible tool closer to citizens and the business environment, one that facilitates not only the safeguarding of visual concepts but also other aspects within this spectrum,” stated Adrian-Victor Vevera, General Director of ICI Bucharest.
The partnership with InfoCons adds an important dimension to this initiative, leveraging the organization’s expertise in consumer protection and promoting transparency.
“Protecting intellectual property is a fundamental right in the digital age. Through this app, we aim to provide real support to all those who need accurate information and practical solutions for the protection of their rights,” said Sorin Mierlea, President of InfoCons.
The app is available at http://www.enkivers.com and http://www.enki-vers.com.
