InfoCons – European Organization for Consumer Protection, represented by President Sorin Mierlea, has signed a Collaboration Protocol with the National Regulatory Authority for Mining, Petroleum, and Geological Storage of Carbon Dioxide (ANRMPSG). The main objective of this protocol is to initiate and carry out programs and campaigns to educate citizens on environmental protection and the impact of the carbon footprint.
The collaboration protocol between the two institutions was signed today, February 7, 2025, between Mr. Sorin Mierlea, President of InfoCons , and Mr. Ionuț Sorin Banciu, Vice President of the National Regulatory Authority for Mining, Petroleum, and Geological Storage of Carbon Dioxide (ANRMPSG).
The strategic partnership between the National Regulatory Authority for Mining, Petroleum, and Geological Storage of Carbon Dioxide (ANRMPSG) and InfoCons aims to explore joint actions for educating consumers on the importance of environmental protection.
The National Regulatory Authority for Mining, Petroleum, and Geological Storage of Carbon Dioxide is a specialized body of the central public administration, with the mission to ensure regulation, supervision, and the sustainable and efficient management of mineral resources, oil reserves, and geological storage of carbon dioxide, in accordance with Romania’s obligations, sector strategies, and efforts to reduce environmental impact.
InfoCons – European Organization for Consumer Protection – was founded in 2003 to address consumer needs. It has continuously carried out its activities, gaining national and international recognition as a member of various organizations, advisory committees of authorities, working groups, and as a partner in national and international programs. InfoCons is the only organization in Romania with full rights in Consumers International and a founding member.
