Sorin Mierlea, President of InfoCons, is participating today, March 11, 2025, in the online meeting organized by ANEC – The European Consumer Voice in Standardisation, on the Zoom platform.
The online event is organized in celebration of World Consumer Rights Day, observed annually on March 15, and follows this year’s theme, emphasizing the transition towards a more sustainable lifestyle for consumers.

During the session, the following topics will be explored:
- The benefits of ecodesign standards for consumers, presented by Boštjan Okorn, Chair of ANEC’s working groups on sustainability and on traffic and mobility.
- The potential of refurbished products as a solution for the future, with insights from Olivia Brown, Policy Officer at Euroconsumers.
- How all these aspects contribute to a sustainable lifestyle, discussed by ANEC’s senior sustainability experts, Michela Vuerich and Isabel Lopez.
