Sorin Mierlea , President of InfoCons , is attending today, May 21, 2025, the reception organized on the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Croatia.
The event is organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Romania.
On the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Croatia, InfoCons is offering Croatian citizens access to the Free European InfoCons App. The European InfoCons App is available for all Croatian-speaking communities around the world, ensuring that all citizens are aware of their rights and receive information directly in their native language.

The European InfoCons App informs consumers in Croatia
The European InfoCons App is a useful and free tool that can be used in Croatian or in any of the 33 languages in which it is available. It can be downloaded from the following stores: App Store, Google Play, and App Gallery. The app provides users with vital information directly in Croatian, such as:
- Scanning food product barcodes to discover ingredients, the number and type of food additives, allergens, sugar and salt content, and calories;
- Scanning QR codes from energy labels on appliances and other electronic devices;
- Customizing the app for individuals with specific health conditions or dietary needs by setting limits for salt, sugar, allergens, and types/numbers of additives;
- Access to all emergency numbers in Croatia, as well as international ones;
- Real-time emergency alerts for food and non-food products;
- A dictionary of terminology related to consumer protection, the environment, banking and finance, labor, insurance, energy, etc.;
- 3 FREE customized QR codes through which users can monitor the traffic of the generated QR scans and more.
