Since 1995, with a loud voice and impressive determination, ANEC has focussed its efforts and resources on raising and influencing standards to benefit European consumers. Despite quite limited finances and challenges, the association’s achievements have been impressive, and consumers are in a better place for its professional, effective and determined actions on their behalf.
Of course, let’s not forget that our most valued resource are the people who have, across these 30 years, dedicated their talent, knowledge and irreplaceable skillsets solely toward promoting and defending the consumer interest. Their commitment and generosity has been – and continues to be – more than admirable.
So, to all who brought ANEC to life and to those who have since laboured to enhance its strength and influence, I offer thanks and congratulations for your determination and success in making this a better place for the European consumer. ANEC is future focussed and I wish us all greater successes and support as we move into our youthful 30’s!
