I was privileged to support ANEC’s work from the very beginning until the end of 2023. I especially focused on the ANEC Domestic Appliances WG which I chaired for many years. In that WG, we successfully fought for the consideration of the special needs of children, elderly people and persons with disabilities in the standards for household appliances. Thanks to ANEC’s tireless work, numerous changes to these standards have been made to make these appliances safer and more accessible.
