To address these needs, InfoCons is launching new functionalities and a redesigned version of the Consumer Passport for NATO countries, an innovative tool that facilitates quick and accurate information for citizens.

The new version comes with a modernized, easier-to-use interface and extended functionalities, such as scanning agri-food product labels to identify food additives, updated notifications regarding non-compliance alerts, and access to useful information for more responsible consumption.
The Global InfoCons App provides citizens from NATO member states, as well as military personnel in operational theaters, with direct access, in their native language, to useful information regarding consumer safety and protection.
Thus, the InfoCons App positions itself as a transparent, independent, and unique tool at the international level, designed for all consumers in NATO member countries.
For the safe use of the App, it integrates artificial intelligence elements for faster and more accurate recognition of information from labels, while blockchain technology, together with advanced cybersecurity measures, contributes to the protection, security, and transparency of the displayed data.

Currently, NATO brings together 32 member states, including: Albania, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Norway, Poland, Portugal, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, the United States of America, Turkey, the Netherlands, and Hungary.
The Consumer Passport for NATO countries marks an important step in ensuring access to information regarding consumer safety and protection. Being a tool developed transparently and independently, and unique at the international level, the Global InfoCons App is available in 33 languages to facilitate direct, concise, and accurate information for consumers worldwide.
In a world with ever-increasing mobility, quick access to emergency information becomes indispensable. In the Global InfoCons App, the list of all useful and emergency numbers at local, national, and international levels is intuitively named “SOS”, a universally recognized acronym.
When accessing the SOS section, the useful and emergency numbers appear in both English and the selected country’s language. The SOS section includes numbers such as Ambulance, Police, Consumer Protection, Fire Department, Border Police, Tourism, Public Health Directorates, City Hall, Environmental authorities, Telecommunications, etc.

The SOS section of the European InfoCons App can also be used offline, meaning emergency numbers can be dialed directly from the app without an internet connection.
