According to the FAO Food Price Index, a key indicator of global food commodity prices, the average value reached 128 points in June 2025, representing an increase of nearly 6% compared to the previous year. Further disruptions in food supply chains and pricing are anticipated in the coming months, largely due to the introduction of new tariffs.
