Bucharest Cybersecurity Conference – BCC 2025 continues today – Stay informed with InfoCons Consumer Protection

Today marks the second day of The Bucharest Cybersecurity Conference – BCC2025, a three-day event organized by the Romanian National Cyber Security Directorate (DNSC) with the support of NCC-RO and ANSSI, in close collaboration with ENISA and the ECCC. Bringing together policymakers, experts, and industry leaders, BCC2025 stands among Europe’s most influential cybersecurity events this year.

Under the theme “Working together on cybersecurity in a time of global uncertainty,” the conference emphasizes the urgent need for international cooperation to tackle evolving cyber threats, protect critical infrastructure, and harmonize security policies across borders in an increasingly digital world.

Discussions at BCC2025 focus on translating EU cybersecurity frameworks—such as NIS2, the Cyber Resilience Act, and the Cybersecurity Solidarity Act—into practical measures. Participants also explore the geopolitical dimension of cybersecurity, addressing challenges linked to the war in Ukraine, Moldova’s democratic resilience, and Romania’s electoral protection.

Key sessions highlight securing vital sectors like healthcare, telecoms, and energy, alongside debates on emerging threats powered by AI and quantum technologies. The event also examines Europe’s strategic capacity to lead globally in cybersecurity through innovation, transparency, and cross-border collaboration.
