Representatives of InfoCons Consumer Protection are participating in the meeting on product safety organized by Consumers International to mark World Consumer Rights Day 2026

Today, March 16, 2026, representatives of InfoCons are taking part in the online meeting on product safety, held as part of the Consumers International meetings organized on the occasion of World Consumer Rights Day.

Consumer organizations are often the first to identify unsafe products and systemic failures in consumer protection. In this session, Consumers International members from different regions will share frontline insights on where product safety systems are failing consumers, which risks and products are causing recurring harm, and how consumer-led action — from testing and research to advocacy and collaboration — is driving impact.

Grounded in real consumer experiences, the discussion will highlight shared priorities and set the direction for collective advocacy beyond World Consumer Rights Day and throughout 2026.
