Sorin Mierlea, President of InfoCons, participated on 24 August 2026 in a working meeting with Ms. Bianca Radu, President of the League of Romanian Students Abroad (LSRS). The meeting took place at the InfoCons headquarters.

The meeting provided an opportunity for dialogue on young Romanians in the diaspora and their access to education and study opportunities in Romania, addressing the challenges they may encounter in accessing information and guidance regarding the continuation of their studies in Romania.

The discussions highlighted the importance of facilitating access for young Romanians living abroad to clear, accurate, and easily accessible information about the Romanian education system, existing educational opportunities, and the steps required for those wishing to study in Romania.

An important topic of the meeting was the “ProEduHub – Facilitating Access for Young Romanians in the Diaspora to Education in Romania. Come Home!” project, created to bring useful information about the possibility of studying in Romania closer to young Romanians living abroad.

Through the ProEduHub project, young Romanians in the diaspora and their families will have access to dedicated information and resources designed to help them better understand the opportunities offered by the Romanian education system and the steps required to continue their educational journey in Romania.

The discussions also focused on the importance of dialogue with young Romanians studying or living abroad, in order to better understand the needs and challenges they face, as well as the role of organizations representing Romanian student and youth communities abroad in facilitating access to information and strengthening their ties with Romania.

In this context, opportunities for cooperation and for promoting initiatives aimed at informing, guiding, and supporting young Romanians in the diaspora were explored, so that they can make informed decisions regarding their educational journey and the study opportunities available in Romania.
