The InfoCons App provides useful tools that help you make informed choices: scan the barcodes of food products or the QR codes on energy labels, compare up to 10 food, electronic or household appliance products, and check Alerts concerning unsafe non-compliant non-food products and their associated risks, along with many other features available just for you.

While you browse the internet, the InfoCons web extension can identify non-compliant products listed in the InfoCons database based on their EAN codes. This tool is available just for you on Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox and will also be launched for other browsers.

InfoCons – Consumer Protection Organisation was established in 2003 to meet the needs of consumers. Since then, it has operated continuously and gained national and international recognition through its involvement in various organisations, advisory committees and working groups, as well as through its partnerships in national and international programmes.
InfoCons is the only organisation in Romania with full membership of Consumers International and is a founding member of the Federation of Consumer Associations. It also represents consumers’ interests within the World Intellectual Property Organization – WIPO, the European Union Intellectual Property Office – EUIPO and ANEC – The European Consumer Voice in Standardisation.
We also represent your interests in hundreds of committees, working groups, advisory councils, research centres and national, European and international organisations. In this way, the consumer voice is heard wherever decisions that may influence your daily life, safety, health, family and choices are discussed and made.

Registration is completed online in three simple steps:
- Enter the information required for registration by downloading the InfoCons App and accessing the InfoCons Supporting Member section, or through the My Account section on www.infocons.ro;
- Pay the Supporting Membership fee online and receive a 50% discount on the annual fee if payment is made by 15 September 2026;
- Your account is activated automatically, giving you immediate access to the benefits available just for you.
The membership fee is EUR 5 per month or EUR 30 per year. The annual membership offer is available exclusively to those who pay the fee by 15 September 2026. InfoCons Supporting Membership is available exclusively to individuals.
PREMIUM access to the InfoCons App and all the other benefits available just for you begins IMMEDIATELY. The 50% discount on the annual InfoCons Supporting Membership fee ends on 15 September 2026.
