e514 Sodium Sulphates

Food additive with acidity regulation role, obtained from salt and sulphuric acid. It is found in the form of E 514(i) – sodium sulphate or E 514(ii) – sodium hydrogen sulphate (sodium bisulphate). They are also used as a support for other additives.
It is used in the quantities on the recipes in dairy products, matured, unripened or processed cheese, whey products, ice cream, fat spreads, water-oil emulsions, sweet creams, puddings, products from vegetables and fruits that are processed, preserved in various methods, products from meat, fish, eggs, cereals, pastry and confectionery products, pasta, breakfast cereals, beer, wine and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, nutritional supplements, dietetic products, sauces, spices, salads etc.
