InfoCons, a European Consumer Protection Organisation, represented by its President, Mr Sorin Mierlea, and Europa Donna Belgium, represented by its President, Ms Mirela Mariana Roman, have signed a Cooperation Protocol marking the beginning of a partnership dedicated to information, education and the development of initiatives with a social impact.

Through this partnership, the two organisations aim to develop joint programmes and activities in their respective fields, while providing mutual support for their implementation.

The cooperation will focus on facilitating access to clear and useful information, promoting prevention and health education, as well as supporting initiatives dedicated to people affected by breast cancer and their communities.

Under the Protocol, InfoCons and Europa Donna Belgium will mutually promote relevant projects and activities, develop joint information channels and may organise seminars, conferences, exhibitions, campaigns and other activities of interest to civil society.

By bringing together InfoCons’ experience in consumer protection and Europa Donna Belgium’s work in the areas of information, prevention, early detection and access to quality healthcare services, the partnership creates a framework for developing projects focused on the real needs of citizens.
