InfoCons Representative Participates in the ANEC Webinar on the Standardisation of Services to Citizens in Sustainable Cities and Communities

An InfoCons representative is participating today, 16 September 2026, in the ANEC webinar “Standardisation of Services to Citizens in Sustainable Cities and Communities”, dedicated to the standardisation of citizen services in sustainable cities and communities.

The webinar presents ANEC’s work in the field of services to citizens, including the development of a standardisation framework aimed at establishing best practices for the design and delivery of smart and sustainable services by local authorities.

The event addresses topics such as consumers’ need for standards in the digital age, digital services provided by cities, the New European Bauhaus initiative, as well as the work of CEN/TC 465 “Sustainable Cities and Communities” and its working group dedicated to services to citizens.

The discussions bring together representatives of ANEC, the European Commission, the Italian Standards Body – UNI, the Metropolitan City of Milan and the European Committee for Standardization – CEN.

InfoCons’ participation in this webinar is part of the organisation’s work to represent consumers’ interests in standardisation, as a member of ANEC since 2012.
