Sorin Mierlea, President of InfoCons, attends the India–Romania Hybrid B2B Business Interaction in the Agri-Food Sector on Friday, 23 October 2026. The event is organised by the Embassy of India in Bucharest.

The meeting will begin at 18:00 and will take place at the Embassy of India, located at 86 Grigore Alexandrescu Street, Sector 1, Bucharest.

The event will be held in a hybrid format: representatives of Romanian companies will attend in person, while representatives of Indian companies will participate online.

The meeting aims to strengthen bilateral trade relations and economic cooperation between Romania and India by facilitating direct dialogue between companies from the two countries operating in the agri-food sector.

Participants will have the opportunity to identify business and investment opportunities, explore the prospects for developing new partnerships and establish commercial connections in areas of mutual interest, including agriculture, the food industry, food processing and trade in agri-food products.

The event will also promote Global Food Pro 2027, an event dedicated to the global food industry, the agri-food sector, food processing, trade and investment, scheduled to take place from 13 to 15 May 2027 at BIEC Bengaluru, India.

This B2B meeting contributes to strengthening ties between the Romanian and Indian business communities and provides a framework for exchanging experience, presenting commercial offers and developing international partnerships in the agri-food sector.

In the context of expanding international trade, accurate information, product traceability, compliance with quality and food safety standards, as well as the protection of consumer rights, are essential elements in strengthening trust in the market.
