Sorin Mierlea , President of InfoCons , is attending the Romania–India Trade and Investment Forum & B2B

Sorin Mierlea, President of InfoCons, is participating today, 1 October 2026, in the Romania–India Trade and Investment Forum & B2B, organised by the Embassy of India in Bucharest, in collaboration with Ubuntu World.

The event will begin at 18:00 and will take place in a hybrid format, both in person in Bucharest and online. It will bring together representatives of the diplomatic, institutional and business communities from Romania and India.

Mr Sorin Mierlea, President of InfoCons, will participate in the panel entitled “Preparing Romanian and Indian Companies for the EU–India Free Trade Agreement: What to Expect and How to Prepare Before It Enters into Force.”

The discussions will explore the prospects and opportunities that the future Free Trade Agreement between the European Union and India may create for companies from both countries, as well as the key aspects they should consider in preparing for its entry into force.

The event programme will also include a B2B session and networking activities designed to facilitate direct dialogue, the exchange of experience and the development of new cooperation opportunities between representatives of the Romanian and Indian business communities.

The participation of the President of InfoCons in this forum forms part of the organisation’s ongoing efforts to support institutional dialogue and international cooperation, while promoting the importance of accurate information, transparency and the protection of consumer rights in a continuously evolving economic environment.
