Speech by Isabelle Pérignon, Representative of the European Commission, at International Product Safety Week 2026 – InfoCons Informs You

 

Ms Isabelle Pérignon, representing the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Justice and Consumers – DG JUST, delivered a speech during International Product Safety Week 2026, held from 7 to 10 September 2026 in Brussels.

Mr Sorin Mierlea, President of InfoCons, is attending the event, which marks 20 years of International Product Safety Week and international cooperation in the field of product safety.

International Product Safety Week 2026 addresses current challenges concerning enforcement, market surveillance, the development of e-commerce, digital tools and the operation of rapid alert systems for dangerous products.
