Ms Luz María de la Mora, representing UN Trade and Development – UNCTAD, delivered a speech during International Product Safety Week 2026, held from 7 to 10 September 2026 in Brussels.

Mr Sorin Mierlea, President of InfoCons, is attending the event, which marks 20 years of International Product Safety Week and international cooperation in the field of product safety.

The event examines how international product safety principles can be translated into concrete measures that contribute to the development of safer markets and stronger consumer protection.
