Speech by Olivier Micol, Head of the Product Safety Unit at the European Commission, at International Product Safety Week 2026 – InfoCons Informs You

Mr Olivier Micol, Head of the Product Safety Unit and Deputy to the Director for Consumer Policy at the European Commission, delivered a speech during International Product Safety Week 2026, held from 7 to 10 September 2026 in Brussels.

Mr Sorin Mierlea, President of InfoCons, is attending the event, which marks 20 years of International Product Safety Week and international cooperation in the field of product safety.

International Product Safety Week facilitates the exchange of experience and the development of cooperation among public authorities, consumer protection organisations, international institutions and business representatives, with the aim of increasing the safety of products available on the market.
