The Common Session of the EUIPO Observatory Group Meetings, organized by EUIPO, is being held in Alicante, Spain and will cover various topics related to Intellectual Property.
InfoCons is an active member of the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office) Observatory. This involvement underscores InfoCons‘ commitment to addressing the challenges posed by intellectual property infringements across Europe.

The EU E-commerce Toolbox – What Role for the EUIPO?
Following an introduction by the European Commission (DG GROW), a panel will explore key aspects of the Communication “A Comprehensive EU Toolbox for Safe and Sustainable E-commerce”. The discussion will focus on the potential role of the EUIPO in this context.
EUIPO Copyright Knowledge Centre and Generative AI in IP
A brief update on the launch of the EUIPO Copyright Knowledge Centre, including the upcoming high-level conference (20–21 November in Alicante). The session will also touch on broader developments in the copyright landscape, particularly in relation to generative artificial intelligence.
Foresight and Scenario Planning
The EUIPO will present its new initiative on long-term foresight and scenario planning, aimed at assessing the impact of megatrends on the EU IP system. Participants will be invited to share experiences from similar initiatives and provide feedback on the EUIPO’s approach.
