A representative of InfoCons is participating in the “ Food Safety First – Identifying and Reducing Contaminants ” event

On November 13, 2024, a representative from InfoCons will join the “Food Safety First – Identifying and Reducing Contaminants” event, hosted by IBA Bucharest. This online event, held via Zoom, commemorates the institute’s 24th anniversary in food safety research.

The event aims to highlight effective approaches for minimizing contaminant levels across diverse settings to enhance public health and foster environmental stability. Reducing contaminants within the food chain plays a critical role in safeguarding food safety, promoting public health, and supporting ecological sustainability. Contaminants may stem from various sources, such as chemical pollutants, heavy metals, pesticides, and microbial pathogens, all of which demand targeted interventions at every stage of production and distribution to ensure their reduction.
