On June 12, 2024, the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) is launching its annual pan-European media campaign. This year, the main theme of the campaign is related to the negative impact of counterfeiting and piracy on sports, especially in the context of major sporting events this year, such as the Paris Olympic Games and the 2024 UEFA European Football Championship in Germany.
