Meeting between Mr. Sorin Mierlea, President of InfoCons Consumer Protection, and His Excellency Mr. Rim Kap-soo, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Romania
Today, October 15, 2025, a meeting took place between Mr. Sorin Mierlea, President of InfoCons, and His Excellency Mr. Rim Kap-soo, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Romania. The meeting was held at the headquarters of the Embassy of Korea in Romania.
The purpose of this meeting was to strengthen cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Romania, in order to ensure better information for both Korean citizens residing in Romania and Romanian citizens traveling to Korea. In addition, an important topic of discussion was how to provide support in key consumer-related areas, such as consumer protection, intellectual property rights, and proper labeling of products imported from abroad.
This initiative also reflects the close collaboration between the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Romania and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, in their shared efforts to promote dialogue and cooperation with Romanian institutions.
