Sorin Mierlea , President of InfoCons , is participating today, June 13, 2024, in the meeting with experts from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) with the aim of evaluating regulatory policy areas at the level of the Government of Romania , in the context of the process of joining the OECD . Today’s event is held at the Government of Romania .

Among the topics to be addressed during the mission are:
- Ex-ante and ex-post evaluation of normative acts, as well as the functioning of the Consultative Council for the Evaluation of the Impact of Normative Acts (CCEIAN) ;
- Simplification of legislation by reducing administrative burdens for citizens and companies and the activities of the Committee for E-Government and Reduction of Bureaucracy (CERB) ;
- Open governance, transparency, and public participation ;
- Development of regulatory policy at all levels of public administration (central, regional, and local) ;
- The operational framework of regulatory authorities and agencies, monitoring, and evaluating their performance ;
- The general approach of the Government of Romania regarding inspections ;
- Agile governance through future-fit regulations that encourage innovation ;
- International cooperation in regulatory matters .

The OECD is an intergovernmental forum , with its activity being focused on identifying , disseminating , and evaluating the application of optimal public policies to ensure economic growth, prosperity, and sustainable development among member states , as well as globally .
